Branding, Logo Design

The Diocesan Convention is the primary body of legislation for the Episcopal Diocese of Northwest Texas. The theme of the Convention is "Galatians 3:28" - "All One in Christ." Based on this Bible verse, I was tasked with the creative direction and design of the 2024 Diocesan Convention visual identity. The branding is integrated with themes of diversity, inclusion, and equality through lively rainbow hues and unapologetically bold typography that suggests authority and stability.
After experimentation, I settled on visualizing "Oneness in Christ" through the symbol of a cross composed of many different people. The silhouettes of the people are multicolored and differ slightly from each other, representing and celebrating the natural diversity found in life.
